You should not have two firewalls running

Consider getting the ones you do not have from here

http://www.filehippo...re/antispyware/

You probably already have HJT

i agree with Keith, you should never run 2 firewalls on your computer.

This could and might cause conflict with the softwares. Just choose one firewall and stick with it if your are comfortable.

If you feel comfortable with McAfee Firewall, go ahead and keep it. Then go and disable Windows Firewall.
As for the Anti-spyware;
Microsoft AntiSpyware
SpywareBlaster

Not enough. Take a look at the link Keith posted.. It will show a great list. I still think you should take Ad-aware & SpyBot instead of MSAS..

McAfee isn't really that good but if you have paid for it and think it's good enough, let it be.. There is better free alternatives available always though.

If you are not happy with Mcafee, AVG free edition is really good

I will disable Windows Firewall! But I have paid AUD$100 on the McAfee Anti-virus and Firewall? I know it's a bad idea to have two anti-viruses as well! So im think of getting SpybotS&D! There's a forum in the main GTG Page saying not to get Ad-aware? As it has problems!

Hello Rocky IV

Shame on you for saying such a terrible thing about Ad-Aware SE

The bit on the main page is a post from someone who has a problem with it.

There is a link to download it on the main page or it is one of the programmes you are asked to download as part of the malware checks

Kind regards

Keith

Sorry! When I read the small article below the Lavasoft sign it said:
Support for Ad-Awre SE has been discontinued?
