Hrmpf can't remove trojan/malware - hijackthis log [CLOSED]

Hey

I formatted my hd yesterday and at night before I had time to install the latest win xp updates my pc was infected badly by trojan/walware.

This is my log file from hijackthis, please help me to remove it, ;) I need my pc work related at home.. deadlines are hanging over me.. hrmpf... :tazz:

Hello and welcome!

Ok, before we can jump into fixing the problem, can you please do the following;

I need you to create folder C:\Program Files - directory. The folder name would be something like HiJackThis or HJT, whatever.
When you have created the new folder, please move HiJackThis.exe to that folder from the current location you have it. Then please delete the zip.file/any other files you have left from the temporary location. This is important so that HiJackThis can create backups if necessary. Empty your recycle bin.

We can definitely help you, but first you need to help us. The first step in this process is to apply Service Pack 1a for Windows XP. Without this update, you're wide open to re-infection, and we're both just wasting our time.

Apply the update, reboot, and post a fresh HijackThis log. Do NOT apply Service Pack 2 yet!
