Im trying to use a data disk in my CD/R and i keep ketting the message: NETWORK DRIVER APPEARS NOT TO BE SERVING THIS DIRECTORY.

well what the [bleep] does that mean.....can anyone help please i need it for work.

Hi. Does the cd drive function normally otherwise? Is this the only data cd you have the problem with? Need to rule out whether the problem is the drive or the cd.

Hi thanx for getting back ive looked on my computer and the cd drive isnt there, the light flashes then goes off........tried an audio disk in the dvd drive and worked perfect then tried it in cd/w drive and nothing.

Ok, let make sure I got this right. The cd drive does not show up as a drive in windows explorer. Does it show up in device manager? Here is a fix you can try.
