When I open a new document in Word 2000 running under XP Pro, the new document does not have all the options I have selected for it in normal.dot.
I have repeatedly edited normal.dot to select the options I want, but they just don't appear in the new document. Examples: Turn off "tabs and backspac set left indent; "Reverse print order; don't check grammar with spelling; style area width=1"; track changes colors; and several others.
