when i try to run regedit or cmd i get this:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\regedit.com
The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction.
CS:05533 IP:0102 OP:c7 12 87 fa e8 Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.


i dont know why, plz respond

Click start, run, type sfc /scannow then press enter to replace the system files, you need the XP CD and get a blue progress bar
