Win Xp machine occasionally gives me ablack screen

Twice now, my Win Xp has suddenly turned black and I had to disconnect power and restart to get it to work. It just started a week ago, and it did it again today.

We have a good power supply, am frequently scanning for viruses, malware, spyware, etc.

It has been on a lot, but it never did anything before.

I don't really care, I just want to know if it is something like "the graphics card is being used too much".
