Hi,

I just bought a usb 2.0 card with a VIA VT6212 chip. I stuck the card into the PCI slot and started the computer. When started I got the usual "hardware installed" message, so I thought everything was working.
However when I plugged my USB 2.0 cable from my mp3 player in the card, I got an error message saying "Device not recognized".
The card was installed on a ECS elitegroup K7S5A motherboard. I am running windows xp Media Center, with imbedded SP2.

I really don't know what to do, so I was hoping I could get some help here, and I would really appreciate it.

Thank you.

Does it work with other devices, it might be the mp3 player also did you install the drivers for the usb card and the mp3 player. Does the mp3 player work on your other usb ports.

I have tried all other devices, even usb 1.1 devices. The MP3 player is only USB 2.0 and I can therefore not test it other ports, as I have only these new 2.0 ports.
