I'm not sure if this is an Aurora issue but it is definitely a VX2 issue. As you know, I try to delete the critical objects but they only return. I use Adaware, even with the VX2 plugin, but to no avail.

I appreciate everyone's help....

Hi Doug and welcome to GeeksToGo! My name is Excal and I will be helping you.

I dont' see much on your log. Did you copy the whole log from top to bottom?

Open up HiJackthis and do a scan. Please check off the following items:

O16 - DPF: {0878B424-1F95-4E26-B5AB-F0D349D89650} - http://download.barg...MARKETING37.cab

Click FIX CHECKED, then close HJT reboot and post a fresh HiJackthis log and let me know how your computer is running.

Excal,

Thank you. I think that one piece you had me remove was the final piece to this long pain in the *** puzzle. I had used the Geekstogo site to chip away at the problem. Thanks to everyone's postings outside this thread. They were all very helpful.

great site.

cheers.bowlby
