I ran all of the recomended programs and I am not sure if the problem is resolved or not. When I rebooted my pc it showed a an unusual Compaq screen then went to the windows screen, when I signed in, the pc rebooted, this happened three times until I tried signing in under my son's screen, which is not the main account. I was able to sign in and then switch users to get to my user screen. The computer seems to be taking forever to get going. I tried rebooting again and it did the same thing, this time I wasn't able to get into either screen name the first few times, but after a couple times was able to get into my son's. When I launched internet explorer, I did get a winfixer popup, but haven't had any since. Any suggestions? I am afraid to reboot my PC, and am in the process of saving all of my data files before I try again. Any suggestions? I will post my last Hijacklog. I also ran the trojan hunter and it found two possible, but I didn't know what to do to get rid of them:

A. Close ALL windows except HJT

B. SCAN with HJT and SAVE LOG. (a notepad window will open with the log in it when you click Save Log) (Ctrl-A to'select all', Ctrl-C to 'copy')

C. POST the log in this thread using 'Add Reply' (Ctrl-V to 'paste')


DO NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES OR CLICK "FIX CHECKED" UNTIL WE CHECK THE LOG, AS MOST OF THE FILES ARE LEGIT AND VITAL TO THE FUNCTION OF YOUR COMPUTER

• Save the file to your desktop and double click l2mfix.exe.
  
• Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts, then OPEN the newly added l2mfix folder on your desktop.
  
• Double click l2mfix.bat and select option #"1" for Run Find Log by typing 1 and then pressing Enter.
  
• This will scan your computer and it may appear as if nothing is happening, then, after a minute or 2, Notepad will open with a log.
  
• Copy the contents of that log and paste it into this thread.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run option #2 OR any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!

I deleted the original and followed the link, same files present. I deleted those and used the next link, exact same files present. I am sorry this is such an ordeal, I don't know what I am doing wrong. While it is loading, I can see it flash that it is loading the .bat file, I just can't see it.

I found the file, I reinstalled it and renamed it when it asked me if I wanted to replace the original folder, I ran it and here is what I got.
