I tried to install Final Fantasy XI on my computer and it said that I had to install Play Online first. So I did this and partway through the installing process an error message comes up saying: "Error 1335. The cabinet file Data1.cab required for this installation is corrupted and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD - ROM, or a problem with this package." There are three buttons at the bottom of the message: "Abort" "Retry" "Ignore". Pressing Abort just cancels the installation, pressing retry just makes the same message come up again, and pressing ignore brings up an error message saying the installation failed. I tried to start the installation over and over and the same thing happened every time. Now my CD - ROM drive won't read any discs. Please help.

Thanks

PS I have a Recovery CD. Will that help?

Okay you can delete this topic now because I solved the problem myself. My CD - ROM Drive died. I replaced it and the game now works. Thanks for trying to help!
