i found 2, this one should be an awsome drive, quiet, fast, and 5yr warrenty.

http://www.newegg.co...N82E16822148033

or this one is oem but looks good,

http://www.newegg.co...N82E16822144182

you could get two of thease and have plenty of room, over your 200gb mark,
or you can go with one 200gb drive like this,

http://www.newegg.co...N82E16822148065

if you dont know how to the the RAID setup i would recomend the last drive, so if later on the 250gb is not enough you can add more. thease are all drives i would run myself if i could.

you could use two of them at the same time if you set them up into raid mode. otherwise you would just have two drives. ether way you would still have a lot of room. but the raid setup is a lot faster. i love it. but i only realy know how to set them up through windows, and not by hardware. ok whats next... do you have a video card yet?

Lets save the video card for last... thats where the most money is going to go....For one single component

So far weve got:

Motherboard
Processor
RAM
Hard drive(s)

Already have monitor, mouse, keyboard, and 3 1/2 Floppy...

Whats next... are there more system pertinent hardware... or can we move on to the easy stuff. like a CD reader/writter, DVD reader/writter, Cooling, or something else im missing...

Im the novice Builder here... you guys are directing me.

ok next i would suggest a good power supply, atleast a 400 watt. you could buy a case\powersupply combo for about 50.00 plus shipping and handleing. i have seen some realy nice ones. just use google and serch the net, you can find thousands of cases with power supplys. i got my case for 39.00 and baught a deamon 480 powersupply for 39.00 and it has 6 ide plugs and 2 sata and 2 floppy cables and one 12v 4pin. runs cool n quiet and very strong. just watch out for realy cheap ones becuse a lot of the times they are a lot less watt's then rated. this is close to the power supply i got.

and this is a site i trust, and always has been good to me. u can get a case and power supply.

this is a nice one. good deal to.

Never ever buy a PSU with a case the only exception to this rule i make is when buying antec. I would say 480 or 500 W with plenty of amps on the rails, Enermax have a good reputation for power supplies.

:tazz: actuly i have baught 9 cases from the atxpowersupplys.com and all have been realy good. nice cases with quality powersupplys. i have one my self as well for my ftp server. i have made 3 company class computers for a laywer office and the rest was customs that i sold, all with them as well. have never had any issues with it other than it saved me 50. for a case and another 30-50 for a seperate power supply. his motherbord also recomends a minimum of 350watt power supply wich is why i recomended the 400 or higher to give him the extra to compinsate for the power to spin up hard drives, fans, and roms at boot, and leaves enough to be able to play around with.

well for 92.00 u can get this case and a good 430watt powersupply. the case is 38.00 and the powersupply is 38.00 in the drop down menu. our local dealer sells thease for abotu 130. but you might be able to get a good one for cheaper from one close to you..
