Hi, whenever i start my computer, it doesnt boot but instead, the screen has nothing on it, and the modem gives 3 beeps, any idea what's happening?

hey, i got it now, i think i got to get a new cable for my IDE.. now i have another problem, since i dont know much about computer, im stuck on how to add a HDD to My Computer... sorry for the hassle

Take a look at this article for help on installing a HDD.

Remember, it's not necessarily the HDD that broke, but your current one could be installed wrongly. Try reinstalling it before getting a new one.
