hey,

i have quickbooks and i have 2 different users on my xp computer. Is there anyway of the 2nd accesing my quickbook files of there user account??




i would appreciate ur help

It depends. Limited Accounts usually cannot access all files while Computer Admins can. Have the user search for the file they want to access, then copy it to his/her desktop. They will be able to access it from there.

You may also have to add a user to your Quickbooks. This is done under the File menu in Quickbooks by selecting "Set up users and passwords".

that is the safest way to accomplish the restriction...within quickbooks
