for the past 7 days or so i have had shortcuts showing up on my desktop that were not created by me. the shortcuts are of digital pictures that i have stored on my computer in the picasa program. i recently installed a all in one printer and it seems shortly after that the shortcuts showed up. the all in one printer is lexmark c3350. i installed 3 cds that came with it. they are the installation cd, a cd named art explosion scrapbook factory standard, and a cd named photo explosion special edition version 2.
any help would be appreciated.
thanks, gary

your log looks clean.

are you still getting shortcuts on your desktop. ?

if so i think the problem is with the settings in your lexmark software.

have a look through the programs and see if there is an option to put shortcuts on your desktop and deselect it.

sorry i can't be more help.
