Hi Guru's:

My Windows Me instabilities motivated me to upgrade to XP and I did so without uninstalling NIS 2004 (didn't read the original NIS documentation, my bad) <_< ....Now I can see the directories in explorer but it won't run and I can't reinstall from the backup CD....For AV I'm using Avast but currently am only using the XP firewall which I know is slightly better than nothing. My question is whether I can just delete the NIS folders from the program directory using the "delete" from mouse control? The directions from Symantec were about 5 pages long. Also what is the GTG recommended personal firewall?

Thanks for being there.
