Welcome to the Geeks To Go forum.:tazz:

Please disable SpySweeper, as it may hinder the removal of some entries. You can re-enable it after you're clean.

To disable SpySweeper:

Open it click >Options over to the left then >Program Options >Uncheck "load at windows startup".
Over to the left click "shields" and uncheck all there.
Uncheck "home page shield".
Uncheck "automatically restore default without notification".

Rerun HJT,and put a checkmark beside these :-

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Connection Wizard,ShellNext = http://dnaads.com/se...L?zone=enternet
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [5F3X37W] uxt_ps.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [mscin] C:\WINDOWS\system32\m190309.EXE
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ttupt] C:\WINDOWS\ttupt.exe

now close all windows and browsers and click FIX CHECKED

then reboot and post a fresh Hijackthis log.

Hello Bricat,

My system seems running fine now. I didn't see any popups message.

However, when I was from my user's id environment, switched to another user (my nephew's id), then turned off system, I got a message notified something like other user is logging into your machine, turn off will log other user off, and you could lose any unsaved data, ... (even I disconnected internet service earlier). I right click "my computer" icon, selected "Properties" then clicked on "Remote" tab, I saw "allow remote access..." is checked, I unchecked it, saved then turned off system.

I am not sure I should do anything else than that ?

Anyway, if you think my system is safe now, Thanks a lot for your help. I am really appreciated.

Apparently i have missed several entries in your log.

Rerun HJT,and put a checkmark beside these :-

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AlcxMonitor] ALCXMNTR.EXE
O16 - DPF: {4208FB4D-4E53-4F5A-BF7A-3E047DDB5281} - http://www.icannnews.../ST/ActiveX.ocx

now close all windows and browsers and click FIX CHECKED

Then boot up in SAFE MODE

Then navigate to and delete these files\folders in BOLD

C:\WINDOWS\ALCXMNTR.EXE

then reboot and post a fresh Hijackthis log.

C:\WINDOWS\ttupt.exe

if you find them delete them.

also click START\SEARCH\ALL FILES AND FOLDERS. and do a search for uxt_ps.exe

if you find it delete it.

you may have to delete these if you find them in SAFE MODE

can you please let me know if you find any of these.

i want to make sure there is nothing lurking that shouldn't be there.

I want you to use the 30 day free scanner service from SRN Micro and scan the system with that!

Solo Antivirus
http://www.srnmicro....ate/TrySolo.exe

Click Update to let Solo check for new updates available, then Click Options, put a check by "Scan Archives" and "Create a Report"

After restarting in Safe Mode,Configure Windows to Show All Hidden Files and Folders, this must be done after restarting in Safe Mode!!

Here is a link to help with that
http://www.bleepingc...showtutorial=62

Be sure to follow the directions that apply to your Operating System!

Once in Safe Mode,Open Solo and Click Scan&Clean, let it remove whatever it finds!

let me know if it finds anything.

Then :-

Download WINPFIND.ZIP and extract it to your C:\ folder. This will create a folder called WinPFind
in the C:\ folder. Inside c:\WinPFind is a file called WinPFind.exe.
Double-click on this file to launch the program. Once it is launched,
click on the Start Scan button and wait for it to finish.
This program will scan large amounts of files on your computer
for known patterns so please be patient while it works as it can
take a while.
When it is done, it will show the results of the scan.
Click on the Copy to Clipboard button and then paste the contents of the log in your next post.

Bricat,

For the first tool I ran, there is one infected file : hnvkb.dll trojan.Adware.PurityScan, and I deleted.

Below is a log from second tool :

WARNING: not all files found by this scanner are bad. Consult with a knowledgable person before proceeding.

If you see a message in the titlebar saying "Not responding..." you can ignore it. Windows somethimes displays this message due to the high volume of disk I/O. As long as the hard disk light is flashing, the program is still working properly.

Download Killbox from here.

Double-click killbox.exe on your desktop.
Select the option "Delete on reboot".
Now highlight and 'copy' the entire list of filepaths below:

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ofbtrbh.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\cvmres.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\onbc32.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\endrj.dll

Open 'file' in the killbox menu at the top and choose 'Paste from clipboard'

Now you will see, this is pasted in the "Full Path of File to Delete"-field.
There's a little arrow (dropdown-arrow) next to that field.
If you expand it, these lines should be there together!

Then press the red button with a white X in it.
Killbox will tell you that all listed files will be deleted on next reboot.
Click YES

When it asks if you would like to Reboot now, click YES
If you get a "PendingFileRenameOperations Registry Data has been Removed by External Process!" message then just restart manually.

then :-

Copy the bold text below to NOTEPAD.

call it rem.REG

save it to your desktop.

on your desktop double click on REM.REG and allow it to merge with the registry when it asks.

REGEDIT4

[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\mngsfgfn]

[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{daf719e6-fc71-49fc-9491-5c21e7d6d284]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Shell Extensions\Approved]
"{61F876A8-38CB-4F8E-A706-DA601F87B675}"=-
"{62D56155-3DD3-4A93-BBBF-D1B8B5C0C7CF}"=-

Then :-

Copy everything inside the quote box below (starting with dir) and paste it into notepad. Go up to "File > Save As" and click the drop-down box to change the "Save As Type" to "All Files". Save it as findfile.bat on your Desktop.

dir C:\WINDOWS\system32\m?config.exe /a h > files.txt
notepad files.txt

Locate findfile.bat on your Desktop and double-click on it. It will open Notepad with some text in it. Please post the contents of that Notepad here along with a new HiJackThis log and winpfind log.
