Hello Geeks to go, This is my first time here and I really appreciate any help that you guys can offer. My computer has been a standalone system for almost 4 month and i recently decided to get internet again(mistake!) :tazz: everything seemed fine and dandy until a virus/malware/spyware infected my pc. It establish a new connection called SIXA and attempts to connect to a remote modem somewhere. So about every 10 minutes when i am connected to the internet a popup comes that attempts to access a website and prompt me to install mysitebar and logs me out of my internet connection. I installed microsoft anti spyware and spyware sdbot plus i have norton complete utility suite, i scanned using all of them came up with a few results the sdbot reported 6registry entries regarding windowssecurity update diabling/antivirus override etc. i removed all of them than i ran microsoft anti spyware and found newdotnet and coolwwwsearch and removed those. The problem was still there so despartely and stupidly i attempted system restore which did not even work it showed up with the message that nothing has been changed on my pc i tried a several restore points too. Finally i was able to system restore in safemode and get it back to normal. Now everything is back again all the popups and the unremovable sixa dialer except it's even worse cause the system restore doesn't even work in safe mode and my anti-virus/spyware aren't picking up anything. I can't access the internet period. So i am on another computer right now and downloading all the software you guys recommended i will be able to post a hijack this log later today. But in the meantime can any one help me PLZ?
ps. system manager reporting zzz.exe running
