Ok so... my problem is real simple.. when I try to burn something (well use Nero as the burner for example) it will only record the image, like a test to see if the burn would work, but my computer does not think that I have an actual CD burner! If I try to choose a recorder, the only thing it detects is my image recorder. Any ideas?

Yea, this is the best i got. Go to control panel admin. tools and then computer management then go to the tab device manager. Once there uninstall the image recoder (it should be under a + and to uninstall it just right click and go to uninstall) . Then either add new hardware or download the driver online for your CD burner. I dont know which will be better, it all depends on if your OS knows the driver.
