I have several problems which I think could be related. First of all, I noticed that my drives were not reading my discs properly when I was trying to check picture CDs. Today, all of a sudden, my D drive which is my DVD -RW drive is showing as a CD drive. Plus, when I was trying to download something I got an error message saying to insert disc into drive A.

If you need further info to try and help me, please let me know. I appreciate any assistance.

i dont really know, but do a virus scan just to be safe. Then cause you have xp i would say to do a system restore. And if that doesnt work then uninstall and reinstall the drivers
