Hi
About a year ago I downloaded Yahoo for Internet Explorer 6 I have no idea how to uninstall it so I can be back with my normal IE..The website that I downloaded it from only has install instructions nothing for removal. Im attaching a screen shot to show you what it is..Thanks For your help! :tazz:

Click start then control panel and look for it in add / remove

Its not there..I cant find anything thats close to it..not even IE is there :tazz:

Get CCleaner here

Open it, click tools, look through the list for it, click to highlight then click run uninstaller

If you use the scan for issues part of this programme, always use the option to make a back up before removing anything.

Yahoo Internet explorer

Here is a list of programs from yahoo that are in the add remove list

Yahoo Install Manager
Yahoo Internet Mail
Yahoo Messenger
Yahoo Photos Easy Upload Tool

I also still do not see Internet Explorer in add remove list

well really I only use yahoo messenger Here is the website I downloaded yahoo internet explorer from ie6.yahoo.com/ie6 but this was some time ago. I just have no clue how to remove it.

On a web page, click view, toolbars and remove tick from Yahoo, which doesn't remove it but stops it showing

Click each one from the bottom up, run uninstaller for each, when they are gone, reboot, connect to the internet and re-install Yahoo Messenger, look through the options during install for add Yahoo Toolbar

Check tools, internet options, connections to see it is still set to dial your default connection

ok I did all those steps. But I still have The Yahoo Internet Explorer 6.0 as my Browser.

Ok its not the Yahoo Toolbar..This is Internet Explorer provided by Yahoo. Now when I first installed it . It did have yahoo tool bar added to it..But I have since removed it. But I still have the Yahoo Icon at the top right hand corner Here is another screen shot for you..Sorry for the confusion

No I downloaded it from this website http://ie6.yahoo.com/ie6/ about a year ago.
