Hey all, I am trying to disable my mobo's sound device. I have a ASUS A7N8X-Deluxe E mobo, and it has a nvidia nforce2 chip with nvidia nforce sound device. But I also see that there are more audio devices than just the nforce related drivers in my Device Manager. So my question to you all is if i should infact disable the those as well as I try to install my new Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Zs.

Overall I don't want any DMA (direct memory access) conflicts between my mobo sound device, with my new sound card i'm about to install. So would you please help me? Any help is much appreciated.

Here's a link of a pic of what my Device Manager looks like.

I have this card and it works fine whatever the onboard is set to

Boot the PC and keep tapping the delete key right after the beep until it enters set up, look through the options to disable onboard sound, press F10 to save and exit, type Y to confirm then press enter to reboot
