Cannot find file

Each time I boot up I receive the message cannot start this file. This does not seem to have any effect on my operating the computer. What is required to take care of this problem? Thanks

Click, start, programmes, accessories, system tools, system information, tools, run system file checker and replace any files it asks for from the 98SE CD
