Please help!! my computer crashes all the time when running antivirus scans and adware scans. Also it seems to constantly restart when selecting shutdown except when i safe mode.

I get lots of BSOD errors which are as follows : OE @ 0028:48D008C1
OE @ 0028:480008C1
OE @ 0028:B39008C1
OD @ 22D7:01676B97
OD @ 144E:015F7SES
OD @ 0A7C:015F268B
OE @ 017F:BFF9DBA7

Also had a "kernel32 caused a general protection fault in module KRNL386.exe at 0001:000075a2" error.

Can anyone suggest any ideas how to cure these!?

Hey Nigel -
I had a similar problem and found out that I had some virus, adware, pop-up blocking software running at the same time that were not combatable. I turned them all off and the computer stopped rebooting itself. I then ran the programs individualy under safe mode, restarted the computer and found a working combination of the programs by trial and error.

I hope this helps, it can't make things worse.
