Keith --What a mess! I uninstalled the Bluetooth application (a failed experiment) on my PC and returned the USB connectors (SD card reader and Palm Zire sync cable) back to the way they were, but keep getting the New Hardware message, and also keep getting Cannot Lock Current Drive message when I type chkdsk /f /r in Run. I don't know if the two are related or not. I'm ready for the sledge hammer!

When it said / says cannot run because, type Y to confirm then press enter then reboot, or has the type Y/N offer gone since you removed those items

I always type Y, but when I reboot there is the same message when I Run.
