Limewire or Aresgalaxy. I am going to automatically assume you are using it for good purposes. :tazz:

For most file sharing uses, I would have to say the open source eMule is by far the best file sharing application and uses existing eDonkey networks. You can check it out at:

http://www.emule-project.net/

But, I was interested to see that Limewire had gone no-spyware and has an opensource component to it. I may have to give it another chance. For info sake, Limewire uses existing Gnutella networks?

Cheers,
Tom

As of today, September 14, 2005 we have made a change to the board rules. We will no longer allow any type of thread whose purpose is to discuss a P2P file sharing application. We are choosing to not argue "semantics" with anyone. We do realize that they *can* be used for legal puposes. We also know that in some countries, file sharing is NOT illegal.

However, as a Global site, we feel it is best to disallow all discussion of P2P programs. Any and all threads we see asking for help installing the programs, to how to use them, and even to "which P2P is best", will be automatically closed.

We thank you in advance for your consideration and understanding in this matter.
