Every time I try to open Excel I get this error message

EXCEL caused an invalid page fault in
module EXCEL.EXE at 0167:3003ffed.

I found a solution for excel 2000 on support.microsoft.com/?kbid=812136 but it doesn't help as I can't find C:\Windows\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel to rename the exccel toolbar - no file excel.xlb
Any suggestions?
