Ok recently noticed connecting to servers i constantly get this message

"Server is for low ping players only"

Fair enough but im pinging the servers around 18-20 in ASE and have no downloads going on.

I did manage yesterday to connect to a server for only a few seconds before i got booted for "Blocked O/S Privladges :fc"

Ive also noticed this in console when im being refused, not sure if it's any help.

Hunk_clear :reset the hunk ok
.....R_Init....."


Any ideas how to revert this problem would be appreciated, also when connecting through the actual CoD menu only around 12 empty servers are shown when the others seem to refuse to load.

Really at my wits end at the moment so frasturating...

first update punkbuster by using pbweb.exe (see pinned topic, this forum). Make sure you are an admin on the system. are you running the latest patch (1.5) ?

Yup updated pb, as far as im aware im still the adminstrator as there arent any other accounts been made seeing as im the only one who uses it..

Also using 1.5 yes.

ok then the low ping connection happens sometimes. when it kicks just bring down the console and type /reconnect and it should connect you. if it doesn't then you will need to reboot your pc and power cycle your modem and router.

Tried /reconnect and just doesnt work exactly how do i power cycle my modem, i dont have a router....

Pretty sure ive power cycled my modem and still no change, seems its sending not much infomation to the server like it should anyway to know if my internet isnt communicating right.

Also i did recently install a firewall and uninstalled it perhaps thats still holding infomation back?

ive reinstalled cod and patchs
still get the same problem
tried updating the pb but getting errors
