Black Adware Wallpaper [CLOSED]

Someone else reported this problem and said they solved it, but I did not
see the solution. They did not say what the solution was.

"My wallpaper is locked and is replaced with a black background with the message.... warning your computer might be infected with spyware or adware."

In addition, on my system, the background tab on the 'display' icon in the control
panel has totally disappeared. I can't even change to some other wallpaper.


What is the cure? :tazz:

You Must Read This Before Posting A Hijackthis Log

this will help you clean up to 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THIS thread.
