When i try to open command.com it comes up with an error message saying: "16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem
C:\windows\system32\command.com
C:\progra~1\Symantec\s32evnt1.dll. An installable Virtual Device Driver failed dll initialization. Choose 'close' to terminate the application." Then it gives me 2 options; close, or ignore. If I ignore it it works fine but i think something's still wrong. This also happens when im trying to install some programs.

Since, this is being caused by Symantec product, why dont u try re-installing it.

Try this:
Start -> Run.
Type: regsvr32 /u s32evnt1.dll.
Press <enter>.

loadlibrary("s32evnt1.dll") failed - the specified module could not be found

i tried it with out the /u a while ago and it gave me the same message.
