My spooler service won't start. It says "Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start." And when i try to reinstall my lexmark, it says: "Lexmark_X74_X75.JPG "

ktownkatman,
Pls. be patient. This is not a chatroom, where u get immediate replies.
Follow these steps:
Start -> Run.
Type: services.msc.
Press <enter>.

Check if the StartupType of Print Spooler service is Automatic. If not double-click it, to open its properties dialog and in the Startup Type drop-down menu select Automatic.

Yes it is in auto updates. But its name is changed according to M$ KB code.
Just dowload all the updates.

Also there are a few services that have to be on for "Printer Spooler" to even work.... Click on the "Dependencies " tab in Printer Spooler and see what services Printer Spooler depends on and then check those services.

I just had this problem :tazz:
