Maybe try another port on the Hub/Switch...If you've got all on the same workgroup then you should be able to see each other and the shares regardless of the internet connection(good or bad)

i have, the hub works, because if it didnt i woulnd be able to go online. the computer just refuses to play nice and share with the other networked computers
