every time i try to play a game that has major graphics my computer freezes up and i cant play is it my graphiccard? if so how do i get a new one?

im playing the sims online well trying to i think im using a extream graphic driver its old thats all i know my pc is a dell windowsxp home edition. im not to good at this stuff

goto start, then right click on my computer, then click on properties, this will bring up mostly what we want to know. Post up what it says.
