Hi solar_eclipse2 and welcome

Please download ewido security suite it is a trial version of the program.
  • Install ewido security suite
  • When installing, under "Additional Options" uncheck "Install background guard" and "Install scan via context menu".
  • Launch ewido, there should be an icon on your desktop double-click it.
  • The program will now go to the main screen
You will need to update ewido to the latest definition files.
  • On the left hand side of the main screen click update
  • Then click on Start Update
The update will start and a progress bar will show the updates being installed.
If you are having problems with the updater, you can use this link to manually update ewido.
ewido manual updates

Once the updates are installed do the following:
  • Click on scanner
  • Click on Complete System Scan and the scan will begin.
  • While the scan is in progress you will be prompted to clean files, click OK
  • When it asks if you want to clean the first file, put a check in the lower left corner of the box that says "Perform action on all infections" then choose clean and click OK.
  • Once the scan has completed, there will be a button located on the bottom of the screen named Save report
  • Click Save report.
  • Save the report .txt file to your desktop.
Now close ewido security suite.

Please post back the txt file from Ewidos and a fresh HJT log including the very top part please,

My computer is still slow on start up, like it's loading a bunch of garbage and if I restart instead of shutdown, it hangs on me. And it tells me windows virtual memory is too low and it will adjust it for me.

Ok do you recgonoze the settings from your trusted zones ?

Lets have a look at a couple things
  • Start HijackThis
  • Click on the Config button
  • Click on the Misc Tools button
  • Click on the Open Uninstall Manager button.
  • You can click on the Save list... button and specify where you would like to save this file. When you press Save button a notepad will open with the contents of that file. Simply copy and paste the contents of that notepad into this topic please,

    Also, Under Misc Tools
  • Click on the Generate StartupList Log button.
  • Once you click the button, the program will automatically open up a notepad filled with the Startup items from your computer. Copy and paste the contents back to this post please

There are a couple optional fixes that we can make that may or may not help,

Lets give a few onlne scans a run first see if the show us anything,
Please run these two online scans. Make sure they are set to clean automatically:

TrendMicro's HouseCall
ActiveScan

You should try to delete any files that these scanners are unable to clean. Make sure you check the 'Disinfect automatically' option in Active scan, and check the “Auto Clean” option in TrendMicro, Then let us know if its working better and what the scans found.

Then scan again with HijackThis and post another log please.

Ok, well I still used msconfig to disable some stuff at start up so I really dont want to enable it all again. Can you explain to me why you would like me to do this? I don't mean to be rude, I am just curious.

Just want to make sure nothing is hiding on us, Need to see everything that is on your system, If there is nothing there you can always go back and disable them again
