Multiple pages opening

When I select an email address on a website or in an email I have recieved in order to send them an email, my Internet Explorer 6 opens around 12 or so pages that all come up with a "can't find" error message!

To prevent this happening I have to open a new email and manually insert the address. Anyone know what the problem is?
