"ur antivirus is switched off" message at startup

everytime i start up xp and logon i get a message from the bottom right corner saying your antivirus id turned off click this baloon to fix this problem i click it and it goes to xp security center where it sais that norton is on and up to date

how do i stop it?????????

Click change the way security centre alerts me and remove tick from anti virus then click OK
