W95 NDIS/Protection Error

I recently upgraded to a faster processor, 2.5 ghz... now when I try to run windows I get a windows protection error NDIS.. I found a Microsoft post (Article ID : 312108) that says there is a fix.. anyone know where I can get it? I have Win 95 on my system. Hoping someone can help...

Usually they give the article with the fix. Is it not there?

The only 'fix' is to make sure you have current versions of both programs, I do.

Disregard above post....was thinking of a different problem. The fix in the article is to 'contact Microsoft'....and thats not easy to do or without cost.

Actually have done google search and although the item you refer to is not my motherboard, if you are refering to this section of the post:

The last six numbers show the article number....the one I listed in my 1st post.

This is the 'fix' I need (from the MS article listed):

The English version of this fix should have the following file attributes or later: Date Time Version Size File name
--------------------------------------------------------------
28-Nov-2001 11:05 4.10.0.2000 157,909 Ndis.vxd

Please note, I have found the W98 versiion of the 'fix', I need the W95 version.
