My XP Pro seems to be losing ability (selectively) in displaying window contents in both win & internet explorer. Example(s) :
> Launching Searches = blank window
> No contents on Windows Update (not "about blank" - reads "Done")
> Blank window on "System Restore" .
> Blank window on "HiJack This" download attempt

Running Norton AntiVirus, MS Antispyware - all is "well". Checked for footprints of known viruses, etc. , even running fixes for specific current threats. Lastly, ran "sfc / scannow". Tried System Restore but "blocked" .

One more anomalie ; clicking the "Print" icon on explorer has ceased to work. Print requests from apps (Word) working fine.

If this was only in Int. Explorer, I would try to correct further however it seems to be more extensive affecting Windows also. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks !!

Hi there!

Even though you did all this, there may still be traces of malware on your system. Malware can be smart. They like to hide themselves in hidden files and folders. To make sure that malware is not causing this and that your computer is completely clean, go to this link and follow the steps.

OK : I have performed all of the specified steps. No viruses or trojans found. However, my "Dell" pop-ups have now gone blank also. Please find the attached HiJack Log.
