Well, I just recently purchased an ipod shuffle and my brother got an ipod mini. We have tried to charge them and it has not been working. I am aware that it must be plugged into the USB 2.0 port, and I have that on my computer including 4 other ports. I called the ipod helpline and all they told me I could do is figure out which port is the USB 2.0. I was wondering if anyone could help me with this? Is there anything I can do to recognize which is the USB 2.0 port? Any suggestions will be helpful! :tazz:

USB 2.0 was introduced in 2001, so if your computer is from before then you probably have 1.1 or 1.0.

If your USB is integrated on the motherboard, it's best to look up the motherboard manufacturer to determine the USB version.

Do you know how old your computer is?
