hi,i have recently purchased a secondhand pc from local paper and installed service pack 2 but now when i turn my pc on it says invalid product key and to e-mail microsoft,what is this and how do i go about fixing this.the computer came with no recovery disk so i cant do a reformat.do i need to buy windows xp again or can i get a product key from somewhere????Please help

• Replacement of CD or Product Keys

try emailing microsoft like the message says...if it is a pirated key then they will replace it for you

also check the sides of the machine for a sticker with the key on it

Thanks i have e-mailed microsoft to see what they suggest.can i use someone else's product key from a genuine copy of xp that was supplies with his pc
