Not sure if you still need help but, i had the same problem with the same setup. It ended up being that the hard drive had some corruption and .net framework was corrupted. I removed .net framework from add / remove programs and reinstalled office 2003 and everything went smooth. I then went and reinstalled .net from windows updates.

well dude i appreciate the post, but i went ahead and got open office instead and returned office o3, that POS disc,lol. All i needed was a simple doc maker for onl;ine college im in so im happy wit that,lol. Thanks tho and catch ya on the flipside... :tazz:
