Click start then help and support, click undo changes to my computer, then restore my computer to an earlier time, chhose a restore point, see what happens.

If it does not run then you probably did a restore install

when i started it up there were no accounts but when i created an account with the same name as before the "icon" i had before was restored but a new set of folders was created with my name again. the other set was private so when i attempt to go to it there is acess denied. is there anyway to override this??is there anyway for me to rstore an account and is it possible to access private files?

The new profile won't get access to the other one's private folders

Maybe an administrator account could take them over
