I ran all the spyware removal and scanner programs again, including an online scanner. Nothing finds it except Spybot. How can this key be deleted? Can I install SP2 with this on my system or should I make sure it is removed first? Why does the Psguard keep coming back? I did everything recommended to do including running all the spyware/malware removal programs that I was told to runs. My virus scanner is updated, I have a Firewall (I use McAfee), I updated all windows updates (except SP2). I installed Winpatrol, Spyblaster, Spywareguard and I still ended up with PSguard again. Why can't I delete the registry key?
I was wondering if System Restore would be an option if I restore it to a point it was clean. Thanks for your response.
