:tazz:

Hi there, this is my first time at GeekstoGo so I am a little unsure about the whole procedure of things...
I have had this W32/Alemod.b.dll virus on my laptop for a while now. My McAfee software found it a while back but can not remove it...is there anyone who can help me??
I am totally clueless when it comes to virus removal, so if there is anyone willing to explain in basic detail what I must do to get rid off it I would be one happy bunny!
Thanks ever so much...

Charlotte :)

We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool, Hijack This. Follow the instructions in step five of this guide, and reply here with your log.

Most of what Hijack This lists lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.
