Hi.

How do you set up proxy servers, I've tried countless sites but none of them give enough detail, I just want to hide my IP etc.

Why would you want to hide your IP Address? The only real reason to do this is to get away with something illegal.

Ever since my dad took the firewall down (yep he's an idiot) and cought a load of trojans etc I've been kinda suspicious, just a saftey precaution.

A proxy server doesnt give near the amount of protection that a firewall does. I recommend that you put the firewall back up.

as usuall i agree with ScHwErV....the proxy won't really help you in your current situation.....it would only really help if you were possibly getting actively hacked....and...well the likelyhood of someone randomly attacking a personal computer is very low
