Is there a program that lets you monitor your cpu/hdd temp?

several of them actually. if you have a custom system then the system board maker normally has something available on thier website....

I used to have something that workded across most platforms but I don't remember what it is. .....

Motherboard monitor..its better than the program that came with my ASUS board. Turns out the program that came with my system reads about 6 degrees high for full load. I did the touch heatsink to sense the amount of heat and it a little warm..i could have kept my finger on there forever and not gotten hurt.
