i've read about the death of a valued staff member, usetobe.

why did admin remove his account from g2g??? :tazz:

he has passed on, but his spirit has not. shouldn't his account be left alone so that we could remember him?

We are all very saddened by Neils death, I assure you. I believe his account was removed to protect his and his family's privacy. If his computer is sold to someone else, they won't be able to log in here using Neils' account, etc. There are many scenarios that could happen, and we have to protect against them.

Removing his account in NO way reflects on how we all felt about him. Neil was a great guy, and a good friend.

Those of us who knew him will not forget him just because his account has been deleted.

As Kat said, certain steps need to be taken to protect the site, this in no way reflects how we felt about him.

If you truely knew Neil you wont ever forget him,

This I can tell you from personal experience, I spent many a night with Neil in chat and although we were separated by miles of water I felt as though we were sitting in the same room,
I feel I speak for all the staff here, this is a very tight family group and we lost one of our family members and a very special family member.
Neil touched many of us with all his great qualities not only the staff but members here looking for help.
