need help my cpu usage is high

well my computer crashed and i had to run the recovery disk and now my cpu usage is always at like 99% and i have over 1 gig of ram so its crazy...can someone help me out please

Kill any unwanted processes in Task Manager.

i did i like ended almost all of them except explorer

It sounds like you probably have a malware infection.

Read this topic first, since you can clean out 70% of infections yourself using the tools provided there.

After running all the suggested tools, if you still believe you have problems, post in the Malware Removal Forum and the staff there will be glad to help you. :tazz:

Have your tried going in to the task manager (Processes tab) and checking which processes are using your CPU most, you can sort them by cpu usage by clicking on "CPU" at the top of the list

HawtMandy has aleady tried that and has not many processes running, so I agree with Cloutz and direct him to go to the Malware Forums and post there!
