Hi


I recently reformated my computer and after the reformat I had trouble with my sony cd-rw crx320e it doesnt pick up some disks the discs i had trouble with were some install discs but some discs work fine. i checked bios and it is recognized and device manager sys its working fine a freind told me it might be a driver issue. please help me

If you thinks it is a driver issue then see if there are specific drivers for your hardware at the Sony Site

Have you installed the chipset dirvers for your MOBO?

He's right here, the chipset drivers are the first suspects. And usually easy to find and install.

OK guys you"ll have to forgive me but im not that good with computers but i've already checked with sony and they say they cant help me because the cd drive came with my computer. I also put the disc that came with my computer and reinstall the chipset installtion utility I also checked the ide cables and bios this all happened after a reformat and my computer is about 4 months old
