Hm, I have FireFox and IE installed on my comp. It's Windows XP.

However, after so many minutes, both servers crash, depending on which one I choose to use.

Basically, all I get is page cannot be displayed, and I don't think I have a virus, because nothing has been detected.

So, help me a.s.a.p please :tazz:

Click start, control panel, network and internet, network connections

Right click the connection then properties to look for disconnect after 20 mins, use the drop down menu to change to never, click OK and apply if it needs it

Hm, I think I know what you are on about. I don't know if this is the same thing.

It's like 5 minutes or so after using the net, i get page cannot displayed, and i have to restart.

I can access properties and network connections, but then im stuck :tazz:

That's fine as you have never for idle time before hanging up

Have a go with WinsockXPfix from here, near top

http://www.geekstogo...-Log-t2852.html

Have a look through this if no change

http://support.micro...b/314067/EN-US/

If that doesn't change things then post a Hijack This Log to the malware forum
