Hi,

I am unable to open MyTutor24.com from my PC. It works from another computer at home connected to the same router! Other friends can access the website as well. I have had no problems accessing this website at all previously. The site now does not load and I get a connection timed out message. :tazz:

The only change in software I did was load Office 2003 last week after removing Office 2000.

I run XP and have done EVERYTHING suggested in this forum. (Clean, WinSock, Ad-AwareSE, Spybot S&D, EWIDO ....) :)

Here is the HijackThis log file. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for your response.

After a few days of several hours of efforts running through the logs, I was able to find the error. Had a VPN that I was using to connect to work which had a built in firewall - BlackICE - that somehow prevented me in getting access.

I went into Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Services>BlackICE and opened it and stopped it. After this, it worked fine.

I posted on another forum in this same website under web browsers and you can follow all the responses I got and how I ended up (by pure chance) solving the issue.

Thanks,
EAR

Here is the HJT log file for reference.

Also, I checked BlackICE logs and here is what I found. Looks like my machine got attached by URL=/favicon.ico&server=tss9.serverconfig.com:2082&icons_present=1&problem_icon=0&icon_offset=22&icon_length=872&next_offset=830

Don't know what happened.
